Raven Pauldron
Our raven pauldrons are cast in resin and feature 6 articulating pieces notwithstanding the head which is separately cast but not articulated. The front and back wing joints have some limited movement to allow for body movement. The hind wing tip rotates to a fully stretched out wing or a slightly closed wing. Please keep in mind this is not a practical pauldron and is strictly ornamental. The design is made to fit over the left shoulder only. You will have decent movement in your left arm though you will not be able to raise your arm more than 80 to 90 degrees up and out before the raven head starts to tilt towards your head.
You may order your raven with either a closed or open beak.
Ravens are cast in black resin. If you wish to have them in any other color please indicate this in your email. Please keep in mind if you request a custom paint job or metallic finish on your raven areas where the resin parts come in contact and where there is friction, the paint job will scratch over time. This scratching will likely work itself into the aesthetics of the raven. For example with out silver, gold, or silver with gold accent pieces, we don’t paint a solid coat of metallic color on the entirety of the piece and allow a little bit of black to show through to give the piece more depth. In this way, scratches will also look like natural weathering if they worm over time. Featured in this listing are the Default black raven and a Silver with gold raven.
If you already own armor that allows for pauldrons to tie on, please indicate this in your email otherwise please kindly indicate if you require a vegan leather harness or a genuine leather harness with your raven as well as whether you’d like the harness in brown or black leather. Currently we only offer these 2 colors. Our proprietary harnesses will be outsourced from another local artist that specializes in leather to offer you the best quality.

Production Time
Currently as this is a brand new item, and requires the collaboration of 2 artists, production time will be estimated at 10 to 14 weeks. Once your order is placed, I will then pass on the harness information to our friends at SoeursD’Armes. They will prepare the harness and ship it to us for fitting prior to your order being shipped out.

None of the items in my shop are weather proof. Keep away from intense heat/ direct heat (+30 degrees Celsius for extended periods), and moisture.
This item is cast in resin and will have small bubbles here and there. This is inevitable with the style of sculpt.
