IMPORTANT NOTICE: This item will be going through a minor color change. The fur used in the photos here is our “Original” and is now discontinued and will no longer be available to us. we will be switching to a slightly lighter color as of December 2021. Concepts of our new color are in production and photos will be available by February - March 2022

the lion can be ordered to either sit on top of an adult human head or fitted with a larger cap to be worn on top of a helmet. before making the purchase, please write to me and indicate if you want the piece for a helmet or a human head.  The specific headdress in the photos was made for a Roman helmet. the last photo depicts the height at which the headdress would be sitting when worn on top of a helmet. The head featured in these listings is an XL lion head. We recommend the regular size head over the XL head.

Customization:

each piece can be individually customized. if you wish for a headdress in a different colour or style, please feel free to get in touch with me. You're welcome to ask for a Lion rug that can be worn as a headdress as well but please we aware that this piece can get quite heavy as a full-body headdress and is not recommended for small individuals.  fees may be associated with certain customization. any upgrades will be charged accordingly

 Disclaimer: Please note, these headdresses are not weatherproof and need to be kept out of the rain or direct contact with water as the dye is water-soluble. you will also need to keep them away from direct intense heat. This headdress is a large and heavy piece. if you are a small person, please be aware that this lion may be difficult for you to wear for an extended period. if you wish to have a lighter piece, I recommend going for the other lion headdress in the shop and asking about a separate cape to be made for you.
